Who I am

Hey there! I'm Jeremy C. Darby, a passionate Graphic Designer and Illustrator with over a decade of experience bringing creative
visions to life. My journey into the world of art and design began with a love for comic books, doodling in the margins of church programs and dreaming up worlds during school hours. What started as a childhood hobby has blossomed into a fulfilling career, and
I've never looked back!

Creative Quest

Like most kids, cartoons and comic books fueled my imagination. Shows like Ronin Warriors, X-Men, and Freakazoid, with their big personalities, character designs, and limitless narratives, shaped my young mind. My older brother got me into reading comic books like X-Men and Radioactive Man, which not only shaped my vocabulary but also made me an avid reader.

My late mother played an integral part in my creative growth. With her background as a teacher and painter, she introduced me to a world of art museums, juried exhibitions, and even Southern Black artists. Her wisdom and guidance were instrumental in helping me pivot from my initial dream of becoming a comic book artist to pursuing a career in graphic design. She taught me to marry the rules and strategy of design with the unrestricted experimentation in illustration.
